Preschool is located in the heart of North Park, San Diego.

It is a non profit and non discriminatory school for all children ages from 2 to 5 years old.

French Montessori Preschool is where children love to be! We take care of our children with love and respect, considering the importance of listening to each child  at all times and respecting each personalities. We encourage physical, mental, social,emotional development. Our school is a second home for your child, where he feels loved, where he laughs and learns!

Green is Good

At our preschool, we care about our environment. We encourage our little ones to eat healthy and organic, taking care of plants and animals, respect nature and the others. Also, we learn about the importance of taking care of our planet,  recycling, and saving energy. Gardening is part of our curriculum and children love it!  Planting flowers, growing fruit and veggies in the yard, watching our plants grow. 

a typical day

Preschool opens at 7:30 am.

Montessori class starts a 8:45 a.m and children engage with Montessori work time for two hours. Children choose their own work, work at their own pace, and become absorbed in their work. Our classrooms provide 5 Montessori work areas: Practical life, Sensorial, Language, Cultural Studies, and Math. Our teachers "guides",
 give individual and group presentations to children, based on their interests and developmental level. Exploration,  Concentration, Independence, and Creativity is out priority!

In the morning period, children have an enjoyable Spanish Class. We learn to greet each other, count numbers, months of the year, and seasonal songs.  

Time to play outside! time to get the energy out: running, riding tricycles, playing in the sandbox, and having a wonderful time!

Children have "creative curriculum" time. Depending on the day of the week, children are baking bread, exploring watercolor painting,discovering sensory play, sewing,and seasonal craft. It's fun, it's wet, it's dirty, it's messy, we laugh and we love it!

Time for lunch, organic for the most part please. Then, a little nap to rest the mind and the body. Waking up, followed by a French class. Then, a good snack. Already time to clean up, Mummy and daddy will be here soon!
